222 JIU JITSU is the manifested dream of Tyrone Elliott.
A passion for Jiu-Jitsu and the lifestyle it inspires. He believes in trying the make the world better than how he found it, by using his gifts, knowledge, and experience to help improve the lives and experiences of those around him. That’s how 222 was born.
The dream of teaching Jiu Jitsu became a reality in 2017, where they began teaching from a local community centre. Although he was faced challenges along the way the goal of owning his own school remained the same. In 2019 Tyrone opened their first school in Gateshead, after this the academy and team continued to flourish and the amount of students who chose to learn Jiu-Jitsu multiplied.
Moving onto present-day Tyrone is still dedicated to improving 222 JIU JITSU, not only through teaching techniques, but by continually inspiring mindful living. After all, Jiu-Jitsu is so much more than a sport, it’s a lifestyle.
