The Athlete has always been Scramble’s flagship Brazilian jiujitsu gi. This kimono has been lovingly crafted and refined over the years using feedback from athletes and customers, as well as the founders and staff of Scramble, who almost all train. The gi features simple Scramble branding at key points and follows all IBJJF guidelines for legality. We have clearly listed the GSM of the top and bottoms so that you can easily pass IBJJF inspection.
And for those who don’t compete, this is an excellent every day gi with enough weight to withstand vigorous daily training.
Many other brands blend their cotton with polyester as it is cheaper and reduces shrinkage, but we always use 100% cotton. It is healthier and feels more comfortable on the skin, while also remaining breathable when you are sweating. This means that the gi may be susceptible to shrinkage, but no more than usual, and you can rest assured that this is because of the pure cotton content.
This gi does not come with a gi bag.
Shipping cost is calculated at the checkout and orders are shipped using either Interconnect Premium/EMS or FedEx depending on destination.
Orders made before 12pm (UK Time) will be sent out the same day.* Orders made after 12pm on Friday will be shipped the following Monday or next business day.
Orders are sent from our warehouse based in the UK therefore are subject to any applicable local Duties, Taxes and Fees to be paid for by the customer.
