[VIDEO] Kettlebell Swings and Super Healthy Knees with Oliver…

Scramble Brand > Scramblog > [VIDEO] Kettlebell Swings and Super Healthy Knees with Oliver Taza!

Perfect timing for the Covid-19 / Quarantine / Coronavirus / Lockdown thing, Scrambler Oliver Taza has two very useful videos on his Youtube Video.

The first is a really useful guide on how to kettlebell swing. How to swing the bell safely and for the maximum benefit. Oliver believes kettlebell swings are one of the best exercises you can do with minimal equipment, and especially for ensuring you have strong and healthy knees, which is a must for jiujitsu, grappling and MMA.

” The kettle swing, whether done with one or two hands is one the best and most complete leg workout exercises to get the most out of your workout. It will get you breathing heavy, fire up your hamstrings, glutes, grips and core. You will also be developing the fast fibres in your body. This leg workout exercise can be done with two hands one hand! Personally, I started with two hands and when it felt right, made the switch to one handed which transfers very well to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Wrestling and martial arts in general. “

The John Danaher / Firas Zahabi Tri Star brown belt Taza has also uploaded how to Single Leg Deadlift with a kettlebell – another extremely useful exercise for strengthening the knee, hips, core, lower back, etc. Use this video to make sure you have good form.

The single leg deadlift is an excellent exercise to add to your leg workouts. You can do it at home, with or without equipment, Injured or healthy. You will be able to compare both legs to make sure they are as strong. You can hold weights with one hand, both hands, dumbbells, barbell, standing on a Bosu, basically whatever variation that will keep you challenged!
