Scramble Gi Sizing – New and Updated info, with…

We get a lot of questions about how the Scramble kimonos and jiujitsu gis fit. Naturally, people want to know how something is going to fit when they are buying online.

So, we are developing a new size guide (which you can find on the product pages) that shows you how each size fits on different people.

All of our kimonos follow the same cut and pattern, which means regardless of the style of the gi, it should fit the same across all. However, sometimes different materials can have different properties (For example, canvas vs pearl weave) and also, different weight materials can behave differently, but overall, the fit should be the same.

All the gis you see below are unwashed / brand new, so you can expect a little tightening up on the sizing.

Without further ado, this is how a Scramble A1 gi fits. The model here is 5 ft 7 which is 170cm, and weighs 63kg, which is 139lbs.

Now the A2 Scramble gi. The model here is 6 ft 1, 185cm, and 74.5kg which is 164lbs.

A2L next – model is 6’3 / 190cm – 90kg / 198lbs

Time for, you guessed it, A3. Model is 5’11 / 180cm – 100kg / 220lbs

A3L size next and our model is 6’5 / 195cm – 97kg / 214lbs
