New Instructional Website “Techniqly” Launched – discount code inside,…

Use the discount code scramble30 for 30% off any instructional on the site! (Not available in conjunction with any other codes.)

A new jiujitsu and grappling instructional website, Techniqly, has now launched.

We know the people behind it – and they are good people 😉

Techniqly aims to deliver really high quality instructionals from all kinds of teachers – famous or not – from around the world, with the key ingredient being quality of teaching and quality techniques.

Techniqly launched with a solid lineup featuring some well-known Scramblers.

Tom Halpin’s instructional debut covers the X-Guard and Leglocks. The instructional goes into great detail on finishing, and setting up, various types of leglocks (heelhooks and kneebars) from the popular position. Tom is one of the best competitors the UK has produced, winning the ADCC trials and representing Ireland at ADCC.

Tom Barlow’s Death by Arm Triangle goes through everything you need to know for a killer arm triangle. Loads of little details on setting up and finishing the popular submission, all explained very clearly by Tom who is an excellent instructor – as well as being a black belt under Braulio Estima.

Tommi’s Pulkkanen’s “Spaghetti De La Riva” shows us some very nice sweeps and submissions from the famous De La Riva guard, given the Spaghetti BJJ twist. Tommi is one of the best competitors in Europe and his leglocks and lapel game is second to none.

Masakazu Imanari also released “Master of Leglocks” though Techniqly, and altho this clocks in at just 16 minutes, it is completely free for anyone who opens an account at Techniqly. All you have to do is create an account and sign up for the newsletter, and the video will be in your account.

Use the discount code scramble30 for 30% off any instructional on the site! (Not available in conjunction with any other codes.)

  • by Matt Benyon

We are very excited to welcome Patrick Gaudio to the team.

Patrick is one of the best competitors of the current generation, gi and no gi, and we are extremely excited to partner with him.

According to our friends at BJJ Heroes:

Patrick Gaudio is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt, a rank awarded by his father Fabiano Gaudio in 2014. Patrick became recognized as one of the top grapplers of his generation while competing in the lower belt divisions of the sport where he often represented the Top Brother academy. He would later shift for GF Team and train extensively with Theodoro Canal with whom he conquered his brown belt IBJJF Worlds title and a UAEJJF Abu Dhabi Pro before joining the black belt division, there Gaudio’s outstanding performances cemented his claim as one of the best in jiu-jitsu.

Full Details – Scramble x Julien Solomita Bumbag /…

  • January 23, 2020January 23, 2020
  • by Matt Benyon

It’s that time of year again folks. The time when our servers collectively groan and sweat and crap their pants as tens of thousands of amazing Julien fans swarm on the site to grab the latest Scramble x Julien Solomita collaboration. But fear not! We have upgraded the servers again, and also upgraded pretty much everything around what happens when we get crushed by floods of visitors, so hopefully the experience should be a lot smoother this time.

We have followed up the best-selling OG Fanny Pack with two new colourways and a much-requested restock of the original colours.

That means, as well as the original colours, you can also grab the Black Version and the Tan Version.

This all goes down on Monday the 27th of January at 1pm UK time, which is 8am on the East Coast of America, 5AM on the West Coast, and for everything else Google is your friend. But 1pm UK time is the one to remember as that’s where we live 🙂

For USA customers, you will be shopping here.

For UK / EU / Worldwide customers, you will be shopping here.

For Australian customers, you will be shopping here.

Japanese and Canadian customers, those stores will receive stock later.

Scramble Supports the Francis Ngannou Foundation in Cameroon with…

  • November 12, 2019November 11, 2019
  • by Matt Benyon

We are very proud to be sponsoring the Francis Ngannou Foundation in Cameroon with free training equipment for their program.

Our athlete Sam Crook has also relocated to Cameroon, to devote his time and energy to helping create opportunities through jiujitsu for the local population.

It brings us great joy to see the smiling faces in these photos.
Francis Ngannou Foundation

The mission of the Francis Ngannou Foundation is to provide the children of Cameroon with the skills to expand their horizons and realize their dreams.

We are honored to be building the first fully equipped gym in, Cameroon. We aspire to provide the chance to fight for good and open doors to a life unexpected. The Francis Ngannou Foundation is a non-profit organization created to enable the youth of Cameroon to take action in ways that make a significant, positive difference in their lives.

By daring to dream, Francis knows firsthand the impact that sport can have on one’s outlook- and outcome. Wanting to provide the same opportunity given to him for those in his hometown, the Francis Ngannou Foundation was formed. Using sports and teaching the principles of respect and discipline, we aim to arm these children with the skills to expand their horizons and realize their dreams.
